QuickLogic's CTO to Deliver Keynote Address at the IoT Summit in Santa Clara

SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- Feb 27, 2015 -- QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK), the innovator of ultra-low power programmable sensor hubs, announces that its Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Timothy Saxe, will be delivering the keynote address at the IoT Summit in Santa Clara. Dr. Saxe will speak on "What Wearables Design Teaches Us about IoT (Internet of Things.)"

Date/Time: March 5, 2015 at 9 a.m.

Venue: Santa Clara Convention Center

Web: http://www.sensorscon.org/

Dr. Saxe will discuss how the microprocessor has reshaped the way people think about computation and what it can accomplish. Dr. Saxe will suggest that the IoT requires a similar reshaping. He will use the wearables industry to illustrate how changes in key assumptions will be part of this reshaping. For example, Dr. Saxe will show how the wearables industry has been leading the way in rethinking accuracy levels when balanced against other design constraints.

In addition, QuickLogic will be demonstrating its latest sensor hub solutions for mobile and wearable devices at the IoT Summit. These solutions include QuickLogic's ArcticLink® 3 S2 programmable sensor hub platform, which enables always-on, always-aware applications at only 150µW active power consumption.
