NI AWR Design Environment Workshop Offered at IWS 2015 in China

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – March 11, 2015NI (formerly AWR Corporation) is hosting a half-day workshop at the International Wireless Symposium 2015 (IWS 2015) in Shenzhen, China on Wednesday, 1 April.  Presentations highlighting specific application areas for NI AWR Design Environment™, inclusive of Microwave Office, Visual System Simulator™, AXIEM and Analyst™ software, include:

  • Digital Predistortion Techniques for Successful Power Amplifier Design - Illustrating how NI software and hardware platforms can be used to combine results from digital and RF domains to obtain a real-time test bed for rapid design iteration.
  • Cavity Filter Design – Demonstrating how Analyst EM technology and Microwave Office circuit design software cooperate in the design of an iris-coupled waveguide resonator bandpass filter.
  • Overcoming Cavity Resonance Effects - Outlining two approaches for overcoming cavity resonance effects of an enclosed microwave circuit.
  • SMA Connectors in Microwave Circuits - Explaining how mismatch introduced when an SMA connector is soldered to a 50 ohm microstrip line at high frequencies can be predicted and eliminated.
