QuickLogic CEO Andy Pease Elected to Global Semiconductor Alliance Board of Directors

SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- Mar 23, 2015 -- QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK), the innovator of ultra-low power programmable sensor hubs, announced today that Andy Pease has been elected to the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) board of directors for a three-year term. The GSA board sets the organization's general direction, decides matters of overall policy and reviews GSA activities.

Mr. Pease brings his breadth of experience as an executive and leader in both large and small semiconductor companies which produce software as well as silicon devices, IP, and services. These companies include Vantis, where he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales prior to its acquisition by Lattice Semiconductor; Broadcom, where he was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales; and QuickLogic, where he is now President and CEO.

Prior to his semiconductor career, Mr. Pease graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science at the Naval Postgraduate School. He spent nine years as a naval officer in various leadership roles including pilot, flight instructor, and mission commander.

"QuickLogic was one of the original 52 founding companies of the Fabless Semiconductor Association," said Mr. Pease. "Today, it's one of only eight companies to have maintained its membership during that entire time. I'm very proud to continue our long and collaborative relationship with the GSA."
