Ravi Subramanian is currently the General Manager of the Analog Mixed-Signal Business Unit of
Mentor Graphics. Before joining Mentor Graphics through the acquisition of Berkeley Design Automation, Inc., Ravi led BDA to become the recognized leader in the verification of nanometer electronic integrated circuits (ICs). Every year from 2011-2013, BDA was selected to the Deloitte Fast 500 – recognizing the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecom, and life-sciences companies in North America based on revenue growth.
In this informal talk, Ravi will share his experiences building business success as well as technical success. Jim and Ravi will explore his philosophies and experience on building two valuable and successful companies - one fabless semiconductor company and one EDA company.
