EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – April 29, 2015 -- NI (formerly AWR Corporation) announces that Phil Jobson Consulting, a provider of RF/microwave system and component design solutions, has successfully designed a family of ultra-high frequency (UHF) cavity-based helical resonator bandpass filters for the CATV market. Using NI AWR Design Environment software, the designer was able to create a complete “synthesis to implementation” process that could then be quickly applied to new designs by changing a few key global parameters.
“Being able to use Analyst to create tightly integrated, reusable, parameterized 3D EM building blocks in the Microwave Office simulation environment has changed the way I design high performance RF/microwave circuitry,” said Phil Jobson, founder of Phil Jobson Consulting.
To learn more of Phil Jobson’s success, stop by NI booth #2431 at IMS2015 on Thursday afternoon between 1:40 and 3:00 pm for a live demonstration and/or attend “The Design of an RF 5-Cavity Helical Filter for Cable TV Testing Applications Using Microwave Office” MicroApps presentation on Thursday, 21 May at 1:20 pm in Theater #3147.
