ARM TechCon Call for Proposals Now Open!

SAN FRANCISCO, May 4, 2015 — (PRNewswire) —  ARM TechCon, the premier ARM-based innovation conference, marks its 11th year this November 10-12, in Santa Clara, Calif. The annual call for proposals, which invites technical presentations that reveal new ways of thinking about and applying ARM technology in systems ranging from sensors to servers, has now opened with a close of June 8, 2015.

ARM TechCon 2015 brings together the collective brainpower, creativity, and passion of hardware engineers, software developers and architects, and other industry partners who are delivering new vitality and utility for ARM-based products. ARM TechCon 2015 is the unique forum that connects the ARM community, igniting ideas, sharing intelligence, and encouraging innovation.

This year's ARM TechCon includes 7 technical tracks that reflect the latest ideas and innovations for ARM-based solutions. The conference welcomes presentations on design ideas, applications, design advancements, process improvements, or innovative products based on ARM technology. All submitted proposals for on-site presentations or panels will be evaluated by members of the ARM TechCon 2015 Technical Program Committee.

This year the conference has a new set of tracks that reflect the rapid changes across numerous industries. ARM TechCon 2015 tracks include: Embedded, Networking Infrastructure/Servers, IoT, Automotive/Embedded Vision, Mobile/Connectivity, Wearables/Sensors, Tools & Implementation. Technical presentations typically cover topics such as chip implementation, debugging, power efficiency, safety, software development and optimization, system design, and verification.

Those interested in submitting a proposal can review the track names, their descriptions, and examples of track topics at www.armtechcon.com/call-for-submissions. The ARMTechCon 2015 Technical Program Committee will review all submissions based on quality, relevance, impact, and originality.  Prospective authors are welcome to reference products as long as product references add to the educational value and are presented in an appropriately non-commercial fashion.

Interested speakers can submit their presentation or panel proposals by June 8th for this year's conference through the ARM TechCon electronic portal. ARM TechCon 2015 takes place November 10-12, 2015, at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

Last year, more than 4,000 people attended ARM TechCon. The conference component of ARM TechCon will include approximately 75 sessions, panels, demonstrations, workshops, and theater presentations that offer insight and education into new products, advanced development techniques, security issues, training, and much more.
