VELIZY-VILLACOUBLAY, France — (BUSINESS WIRE) — June 16, 2015 — Dassault Systèmes (Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA), the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, world leader in 3D design software, 3D Digital Mock Up and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced that parts of the WiGeP-VIP group, members of WiGeP (Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Produktentwicklung) University-Institutes, are now using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform based on V6 architecture to establish new ways of preparing their engineering students for rewarding industry careers.
WiGeP is a group of prestigious universities and institutes in Germany and Austria whose talented engineering students feed many of the countries’ large industrial groups. WiGeP was looking for a comprehensive teaching concept that would provide students with skills to develop more versatile, efficient and environmentally friendly products, skills that are highly sought after by industry in order to better support customers.
