The Envigilant Systems™ platform, which integrates exclusive safety and security technology, was launched to meet security challenges that solve emerging threats to public safety within transit systems and public venues. Allied Telesis developed the game-changing technology that allows law enforcement and transit authorities to have better situational awareness and interoperability to keep the public safe. With the IoT connecting people and devices, Allied Telesis has engineered a way to analyze, visualize and communicate data in real time for all stakeholders involved.

“As the innovation capital of America, Silicon Valley is once again pushing the technology boundaries of what is possible. In preparing for Super Bowl 50, our region is putting in place the cutting edge technology solutions to keep residents and visitors safe and secure," said Congressman Mike Honda. “The local partnership recognized by the White House will not only improve security around one of the world’s highest profile events, but will also set a new standard for how law enforcement agencies work collaboratively to improve public safety and situational awareness.”

Allied Telesis highlighted its new Envigilant™ technology platform at the Smart Cities Week® Conference and Exhibition at the Renaissance Washington, D.C. Downtown Hotel, September 15 – 16. As a Platinum sponsor of the inaugural event, the Company also featured Mark Brûlé, Envigilant Chief Application Architect, presenting in the Exhibition Hub Theater Session Track—Mobile Video, Sensor Integration and Visualization:

  • The Internet of Things and its utility for safety and security
  • Off-boarding mobile video in real time for enhanced situational awareness
  • Eliminating data silos with standards-based web service exchanges

Allied Telesis Chairman and CEO Takayoshi Oshima commented, “When we looked at some of the public safety challenges in preparation for Super Bowl 50, it was clear that the private sector could play a critical role in developing technology to solve a problem. Our Envigilant line of solutions is designed to improve situational awareness for law enforcement and first responders and given that our North America headquarters are within a few miles of Levi’s Stadium, we are honored to partner with the 49ers, VTA and the City of Santa Clara in keeping the community safe.”
