Margulies Perruzzi Architects Expands Leadership Team with New Partners

Expanded leadership strategically positions firm for future growth

BOSTON – Nov. 11, 2015 –  Margulies Perruzzi Architects (MPA), one of Boston’s most innovative architectural and interior design firms, is pleased to announce the addition of new partners to the firm’s leadership. The move is the culmination of extensive long-term planning for the firm’s growth, and expands MPA’s leadership and management team in all practice areas.

Senior Partners Marc Margulies, FAIA, LEED AP and Daniel Perruzzi, AIA, LEED AP and Partner Janet Morra, AIA, LEED AP will remain Principals as they continue to oversee projects and manage staff and client relations for the firm.  Jason B. Costello, AIA, LEED AP, has been named a Partner, having joined MPA in 2015 as an Associate Principal leading the firm’s healthcare studio.

In addition, seven MPA staff have been named Associate Partners of the firm, including:

  • Monica Moreira Audette, LEED AP, is a Senior Project Manager for many of the firm’s high-profile corporate and real estate projects, including the 275 Wyman Street and 175-185 Wyman Street projects for Hobbs Brook Management and their prime tenants, Cimpress/Vistaprint and Dassault Systèmes, respectively.
  • Tim Bailey, AIA, LEED AP, is a Senior Architect contributing his many strengths in architectural design to MPA’s most complex corporate projects. He designed the interiors for Boston Scientific Corporation’s new global headquarters as well as the new office building and interiors for the Cimpress/Vistaprint headquarters.
  • Derek D’Amico, AIA, LEED AP, is a Senior Project Manager working on some of the firm’s largest projects in the corporate and real estate markets, including the global headquarters for both Boston Scientific Corporation and CDM Smith.
  • Dianne Dunnell, IIDA, NCIDQ, LEED AP, is the Director of Interior Design who works on a variety of projects in the corporate and professional services markets. Her projects include Philips North America and Dassault Systèmes as well as several other very large financial and consulting firms.
  • Cynthia Gibson Murphy is a Project Manager supervising the project design process and coordinating with consultants on many large-scale projects. She has worked on projects for National Development and Boston Properties.
  • Paul McIntire, AIA, is a Senior Architect creating high-quality design that supports clients’ business objectives. He is currently designing the Mill+Main mixed-use development in Maynard, Mass. for Saracen Properties.
  • Nathan K. Turner, AIA, LEED AP, is a Senior Project Manager for a variety of clients, including Zipcar and Philips North America, and the repositioning of the Thomson Place portfolio for Invesco,

MPA also named two long-time members of the firm to the role of Senior Project Director:  Joseph Flynn, LEED AP, MPA’s workplace strategist, and  Daniel Madru, LEED AP, whose focus is on the science and technology and retail banking markets. Both will continue to develop and manage their growing portfolio of clients.
