Asian Circuits Inc. Sponsors IEEE Student Branch at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville

Nov 23, 2015 -- Asian Circuits Inc., a PCB assembly house specializing in low- and mid-quantity PCB production, announced today that it has donated $1,000 to the University of Tennessee’s IEEE Student Branch at Knoxville.

This donation furthers Asian Circuits' goal of advancing engineering education by giving students the financial resources needed to participate in electronics design competitions and projects, as well as providing additional resources to classroom technology instructors.

According to Qin Mei Kuan, Asian Circuits' General Manager, "We believe that participating in the education of student engineers is a vital part of our mission and corporate responsibilities. We anticipate providing more financial support as well as making available PCB services for student projects. About the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, IEEE Student Branch

The IEEE Student Branch assists students who are interested in participating in the programs of the IEEE, the College of Engineering, and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. It also provides students with hands-on experiences in the field of engineering, with an emphasis on electrical and computer engineering. Recently, the IEEE Student Branch sponsored a 3D printer project, made a robot for competition, invited organizations for industry discussions, and networked with local IEEE members.
