“Tap Tap - You’re Dead!” N3TWORK Launches Mafia Watch, Breakthrough Social MMO for the Apple Watch

Debut Mobile Game from N3TWORK Now Available Exclusively on the App Store

SAN FRANCISCO — (BUSINESS WIRE) — December 9, 2015 — N3TWORK, a mobile game developer and publisher, today launched their first game Mafia Watch, a native experience for the Apple Watch. Built from the ground up for the Apple Watch, Mafia Watch is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) where players team up with friends and allies, battle against others, and climb the ranks of the mafia by engaging in short and responsive gameplay sessions that come to you with a Tap on the wrist. Mafia Watch is available exclusively on the App Store for Apple Watch.

“Apple Watch is an ultra mobile platform with its own distinct strengths and behaviors,” said Neil Young, CEO and founder of N3TWORK. “We wanted to create a native game experience that would be fun, engaging and social for Apple Watch by enhancing the natural relationship we have to the device. With Mafia Watch, we’re pushing the boundaries of mobile gameplay on wearable devices and have crafted an original experience that is unlike anything you’ll see on mobile devices like phones and tablets today.”

At the beginning of their run in the mob, players will create their character and in-game identity. Tasks ranging from a variety of small time jobs to large scale heists must be completed to rise through the ranks and level up. Each task ranges in difficulty and requires a specific set of gear to be completed which can be stolen from other players by engaging in short asynchronous player vs player (PvP) battles. Using the Apple Watch’s Siri dictation and message shortcuts, aspiring mobsters can also collaborate and communicate with their in-game and Facebook friends, hire other players and even ask others to avenge them to complete their missions and protect their collections.

“With Mafia Watch I wanted to create a game that built off of our daily rhythm of interactions with Apple Watch, something that had great gameplay but that could be played 20 times a day instead of just a couple,” said Mafia Watch Designer & Producer Takeshi Otsuka. “We’ve eliminated long play sessions by creating a game that gives players the ability to engage, have fun, progress and move on with their everyday lives in the matter of moments.”

Mafia Watch is available as a free download exclusively on the App Store for Apple Watch at: https://appsto.re/i6Sn2k7
