SoftInWay Inc Releases 2016 Training Calendar with Two New Courses

Burlington, MA, Jan 5, 2016 -- SoftInWay Inc. has announced the release of their 2016 training course calendar, which includes two brand new offerings. The 2016 schedule consists of both classroom and online courses on both the fundamentals and the detailed design & analysis of turbomachinery. Courses range from 2 to 14 days, depending on the topic and depth of study. SoftInWay offers training on all aspects of turbomachinery, and even provides flexible custom courses upon request.

This year’s new schedule includes two never-before-seen classroom courses: an AxCYCLE Workshop and a Rotor Dynamics and Bearing Design course. These courses were developed as a result of the growing capabilities of SoftInWay’s software.

The 2-day SoftInWay AxCYCLE Workshop gives participants a practical understanding of the design, analysis, and optimization of thermodynamic cycles using the AxCYCLE software. Engineers will use AxCYCLE to perform modeling and simulation of thermodynamic cycles at design and off-design conditions. The Workshop is customized for each participant based on their specific interests, whether it is gas turbine/SCO2 cycles, refrigeration cycles, waste heat recovery systems, etc.

The new Rotor Dynamics and Bearing Design course is a 3-day course that discusses rotor dynamics analysis and bearings simulation for different types of rotors. The course will include fundamentals, lateral and torsional analysis, case studies, and rotor-bearing systems analysis with AxSTREAM.

View the entire classroom-based and online-based schedules for 2016 on the SoftInWay website, www.softinway.com. Special discounts are offered for early registration: Participants receive 20% off the total course price when they register at least two months in advance. Classroom courses take place in SoftInWay offices in the US, Switzerland, and India.
