SolidPartners Launches 4G:PLM at Aggressive $50 per Month per User

Dallas, Texas, Feb. 2, 2016 — SolidPartners, a provider of SolidWorks productivity solutions for 18 years, today released 4G:PLM to the public with special launch pricing. Through June 2016, SolidWorks users in North America can gain access to this fully-featured product lifecycle management (PLM) tool for only $50 per user per month on the cloud hosting platform. For those who prefer to have on-premise PLM servers, 4G:PLM server can be setup for an additional fee of only $5,000 per server on-premise during the introductory period.

“Many PLM solutions have become too sophisticated, too expensive, and too complicated for Small to Medium-Sized companies by focusing on the problems of large enterprises,” said Moazzam Khan, SolidPartners General Manager, Business Operations. “Since it is priced for companies of all sizes, 4G:PLM is a natural fit for companies that need the benefits of PLM, but struggle to justify the high up-front software, implementation and training costs associated with other PLM products,” Khan said.

This aggressive pricing is aimed at small and medium-sized manufacturers who would benefit from a simple, intuitive PLM tool but are not able to afford the high cost traditional PLM solutions charge. Though 4G:PLM is affordable for any manufacturer, it still delivers the powerful tools manufacturers need, including:

  • Robust Security features and data model comparable to higher end PLM tools.
  • Native Windows or Mac user interface.
  • Comprehensive administrator tools for setup which do not require programming skills.
  • Easy to use features like drag and drop and copy and paste into native applications like Microsoft Excel.

During beta testing over the past year, 4G:PLM users raved about its ease-of-use and full feature set.

“4G:PLM is hands down the simplest, most intuitive PLM system I have come across at a far more attractive price point than any other software package on the market,” said Dave Snyder, Director of Supply Chain Management at Miselu.

4G:PLM is a complementary product to SolidPartners’ Activault, a product data management (PDM) tool for SolidWorks. A full features and benefits list is available on Solidpartners’ newly-redesigned website, www.solidpartners.com.
