Being agX compatible allows Sentera to streamline data processing and seamlessly integrate imagery services to help improve agricultural resource management.

In one year, Sentera's equipment collected 16 million images, covered 15 million acres and gathered 175 terabytes of data from 8,000 flights. By enhancing its system to become agX compatible, Sentera's AgVault software can easily share and export imagery data.

This methodology uses imagery to assist in scouting, identifying nitrogen deficiencies and detecting faulty application equipment within fertilizer and irrigation systems. Sentera's high performance near-infrared (NIR) plus normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) cameras have sensors that deliver real-time insights into how plants are developing. Afterward, AgVault catalogs the images by field and year and tiles them into complete maps to generate NDVI data. The data can then be shared and synced among everyone within a company.
