MSC Software CEO Dominic Gallello to Speak at the Autonomous Vehicle Test & Development Symposium

NEWPORT BEACH, CA, May 10, 2016 – MSC Software Corporation announced today that Dominic Gallello, President & CEO of MSC Software, is set to speak at the Autonomous Vehicle Test & Development Symposium in Stuttgart, Germany on May 31st - June 2nd. The topic of the presentation will be – “ Ensuring High-fidelity Driving Simulation with Offline Vehicle Models.”

The presentation will take place on Wednesday, June 1st at 10:00hrs. Vehicle development for key attributes such as ride, handling, NVH and powertrain performance has been supported by high-fidelity, 3D physics-based simulations. These simulations incur a computational cost poorly suited for use in development of the real-time HIL and SIL simulations preferred by ADAS and autonomous vehicle engineers. This presentation explores the latest developments in exploiting the rich content of full-fidelity 3D offline simulation models so that real-time simulations capture more physics, perform more accurately, and add value to the vehicle development process by staying synchronized with offline models.

The Autonomous Vehicle Test & Development Symposium 2016 will bring together the world’s leading engineers in the field of autonomous vehicle research, testing, validation and development. The conference will be held alongside Automotive Testing Expo 2016, the world’s largest exhibition dedicated to new vehicle development and testing, and in conjunction with Traffic Technology International magazine, the world’s leading magazine for advanced highway and traffic management technologies. It will boast over 60 of the world’s leading experts in driverless vehicle testing.
