LOS ANGELES, May 31, 2016 — (PRNewswire) —  Today the LA Film Festival, produced by Film Independent, the nonprofit arts organization that also produces the Film Independent Spirit Awards, announced its sponsors for the 2016 Festival. For the eleventh year, the Los Angeles Times will serve as the Festival's Presenting Media Sponsor. The Pulitzer Prize-winning  Los Angeles Times is the largest metropolitan daily newspaper in the country and has been covering California for more than 134 years.

For the first year, ArcLight Cinemas is the host venue of LA Film Festival. Majority of screenings will take place at ArcLight Culver City with select screenings at ArcLight Cinemas' Cinerama Dome in Hollywood. ArcLight Culver City is a state-of-the-art theater with digital projection in all 12 auditoriums. The Cinerama Dome seats over 800 guests and features an 86 foot-wide screen.
