Rapid Sheet Metal Launches New Service

July 22, 2016 – Nashua, NH – Rapid Sheet Metal, the largest prototype sheet metal manufacturer in the world, is excited to announce a new standard 5 day lead time service for flat parts. Responding to customer demand, Rapid Sheet Metal purchased new equipment and reconfigured its factory to make possible this lead-time reduction from a standard 7 day lead time. The new service is currently available for flat parts with a variety of features, materials and finish options including PEM inserts, plating and powder coating.

David Puleo, Rapid Sheet Metal Operations Manager, stated, “When customers came back with feedback that they needed parts faster we knew what needed to be done. Listening to customers is important at RAPID and implementing this new service is the next logical addition to the suite of Rapid Sheet Metal services.”

Rapid Sheet Metal was founded in 2001 with a mission to manufacture quality prototype sheet metal parts in days, not weeks. All parts are quoted in less than 24 business hours and typically delivered in less than 7 business days. The decrease to a 5 day turn for flat parts allows customers to launch projects even faster.

Jay Jacobs, RAPID’s CEO, states, “We are always on a mission to improve our service. When customers came to us with the request to receive their sheet metal parts faster we committed to developing a solution and did so, rapidly.”
