TomTom Connected Navigation Chosen by Volvo Trucks

PARIS — (BUSINESS WIRE) — September 28, 2016 — TomTom ( TOM2) announced today that it has been selected by Volvo Trucks as the connected navigation supplier for their new infotainment platform, launching first in Europe in 2017, with other regions to follow at a later time.

With this agreement between TomTom and Volvo Trucks, TomTom provides its innovative and modular navigation software, NavKit, in a customised version for truckers; automotive grade digital maps; and live TomTom Traffic service. It marks the first time that TomTom and Volvo Trucks are working together.
