AIA Hosts "Build America" Summit Calling for Investment in Essential Community Buildings

Event intends to underscore the need and rationale for undertaking a renewal effort for public buildings and spaces

Nov 10, 2016 --
The American Institute of Architects (AIA) will announce the findings from a Harris Poll survey of American attitudes toward community buildings at the "Build America" Summit.  There will be panel discussions with topical experts examining case study examples and local solutions that successfully address reinvestment, as well as a keynote address from developer Jonathan Rose, author of " The Well-Tempered City."

Day two will focus on the obstacles and economic realities that need to be considered, and the speakers will share the most compelling ideas for how to address these critical issues.

The AIA will present recommendations based on the best approaches that are determined during the event to the new Trump administration early in 2017.
