The ZYYX™ 3D printer Magna-Catalog debuted.
New York, December 6, 2016, Magnacad, LLC today announced the released of their "Magna-Catalogs 2017" collection designed specifically for IronCAD users. Magna-Catalogs are developed using only the functionality found in the core architecture of IronCAD solutions. By not using any specific programming language to develop them, makes them ideal for IronCAD users to adapt and modify to suit their own needs without the need for programming skills. Magnacad will maintain this practice moving forward. So as new tools are implemented in the IronCAD solutions, these catalogs will evolve with them.
Magna-Catalogs are automatically provided to Magnacad customers who are on a current support maintenance program. " We value our customers support and by providing Magna-Catalogs is just another way we strive to provide them with quality tools that promote productivity and education" said Tom Lehnhaeuser, President, Magnacad, LLC. Since Magna-Catalogs are developed using only the capabilities found in IronCAD, the customer can reverse engineer the components to understand how they were created thereby gaining educational insight. Additionally, the components in the catalogs are developed using 100% customer input primarily received through Magnacad's technical support department.
Key Enhancements
Below is a overview of just some of the key enhancements included in 2017.
New "Mag-ZYYX" Catalog.
New catalog for 3D printing pre-process. Includes ZYYX™ 3D printer specific components such as a build plate envelope that helps determine number/layout of parts in machine, 3D filament material specs that help gauge volume of solid models, and 3D printable models designed specifically for the ZYYX™ 3D printer and materials.
New Parametric and Advanced Variant Shapes.
Added were some advanced components such as; Parametric Bookcase, Dovetail IntelliShapes™, "Eyebolt" Variant Model, 3D weld beads, and more.
Three new "Mag-STUDIOS".
Mag-STUDIOS are catalogs of 3-Dimensional environments using actual 3D geometry that can be manipulated. These "studios" allow the IRONCAD, INOVATE, DRAFT, or COMPOSE user to showcase their designs in an virtual environment to be rendered for presentation. The three studios added are a; Convenience Store, Liquor Store, and a Money Center.
