SCHAUMBURG, IL – January 25, 2017 -- The Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI) announces “Rebar U”, the new e-learning portal for reinforced concrete design and construction learning.
Rebar U is the home of CRSI’s growing collection of publicly available e-learning courses and webinars for continuing education and professional development.
The new website can be found at www.rebar-u.org. Interactive e-learning courses are free for both CRSI members and non-members. On-demand and live webinars are free for members and $50 for non-members. Multi-user discounts are available for the webinars by contacting CRSI at 847-517-1200.
ON-DEMAND COURSES provide students and new employees with introductions to the use of steel reinforced concrete materials, design, and construction including reinforcing steel essentials, construction economy, floor systems, resilience strategies, and more.
CONTINUING EDUCATION WEBINARS provide design professionals with valuable technical guidance on a variety of reinforced concrete related topics including timesaving design aids, high-strength rebar, pile cap design, voided flat plates, vibration, and more.
CRSI’s learning material is also available as local presentations given by CRSI Region Managers as well as online so busy professionals can access this information at their convenience.
