BaySpec to Demonstrate suite of Hyperspectral Imaging and Spectroscopy Solutions at SPIE: Photonics West 2017

SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 30, 2017 — (PRNewswire) —

SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- BaySpec, Inc., a leading supplier of high performance spectrometers, spectral engines and spectral analyzers, will present its latest Hyperspectral Imaging and Spectroscopy solutions at SPIE: Photonics West 2017, January 31-February 2, 2017 Moscone Center, San Francisco, CA, Booth 323. Featured products include the OCI™ family of Hyperspectral and Multispectral cameras, OEM Spectroscopy Solutions, and SuperGamut™ UV to SWIR Spectrometers.

The OCI™ family of imagers (OCI is a phonetic spelling of "All Seeing Eye") represent a new class of ultra-compact imaging sensors covering the 400-1700nm spectral region and ranging from 8 to 220 spectral bands. Imagers are available in both handheld and OEM/UAV-ready configurations in Push-Broom and Snapshot formats. Compactness, simple operation, and intuitive software make the OCI™ family of imagers very straightforward for applications such as precision agriculture, remote sensing, forensics, defense and homeland security and other airborne applications.

BaySpec offers a variety of systems, components and accessories tailored to the most demanding applications. We specialize in developing leading-edge optical solutions for real-world problems, such as observing small concentration changes, non-contact material identification, detection of trace substances, or measurement of spectra from multiple sources at the same time. All spectrometers are based on the rugged, field-tested transmission geometry of our pedigreed telecom products. As such, our devices are ideal for field and in-line/at-line process monitoring in the pharmaceutical, biomedical, industrial, agricultural, security and military marketplaces.
