MILPITAS, Calif. — March 31, 2017 — SEMI today announced that SEMICON West registration is open, with an April 7 deadline for complimentary Expo-Only admission. Pricing for admission packages increase after April 7. SEMICON West, the flagship event for connecting the electronics manufacturing supply chain and adjacent industry segments, will be held on July 11-13 at Moscone Center in San Francisco, Calif.
SEMICON West 2017 features more than 600 exhibitors and 115 hours of programs and networking opportunities to provide the insights, access, and technical and business intelligence needed to embrace today’s disruptive landscape. Programs have been reinvented this year to accommodate the magnitude of the challenges the industry is now facing. Staying on top of the latest developments to keep up with the competition and your colleagues has never been more important. SEMICON West 2017 has created new smart application experiences and networking venues to put attendees face-to-face with key thought leaders.
With the theme “SMART Starts Here,” SEMICON West 2017 will focus on emerging applications and technologies, including SMART Automotive, SMART Manufacturing, SMART MedTech, IoT, and other segments driving industry growth. The VR-driven SMART Journey on the show floor promises to be entertaining and eye-opening. Another first-time event, the MicroE Career Development & Recruitment Forum, will provide insights into the full range of employment opportunities in electronics — from internships all the way to senior management.
SEMICON West connects attendees with the extended electronics manufacturing supply chain, all in one place and at one time. The best in the business — from materials, equipment, design, manufacturing, system integration, and demand channels to adjacencies such as flexible hybrid electronics, MEMS and sensors, and more — re-connect with old contacts and make new ones to drive business forward at SEMICON West.
Attendees can now tailor their SEMICON West experience to meet their specific interests. The All-In pass covers every program and event the three-day Expo offers, while Thought-Leadership and Expo-Only passes offer program and pricing options. For the first time, attendees can also purchase select events and programs à la carte, including the Summerfest at AT&T Park showing the MLB All-Star Game for an exclusive networking get-together and IEEE Training Workshops for IoT. A free College Student pass is available for July 12 so students can explore the industry with access to the Expo floor, keynote addresses, and the recruitment Forum (at registration, current student ID is required for entry).
