SAN JOSE, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — September 11, 2017Amimon ( http://www.amimon.com/), the creator of zero latency wireless HD video technology, announces the extension of its collaboration with long time partner Microdrones ( https://www.microdrones.com/en/home/), a global UAV solutions company, to fully operate its CONNEX long range (CONNEX LR) wireless technology.

Amimon and Microdrones’ collaboration began with the introduction of Amimon’s CONNEX technology, which delivers a full wireless HD 1080p60Hz video link on the 5GhZ band to the distance of up to 1km comply with FCC regulation. Microdrones has now integrated Amimon’s new CONNEX LR receiver, allowing for seamless video quality for 3 kilometers and more, while transmitting clear real time HD visuals.

Microdrones is among the first professional drone manufacturers to combine Amimon’s CONNEX technology, as seen with the Microdrones mdMapper1000 +i that’s used for various applications, including surveying, mapping, and inspection.
