The Hollywood Reporter Reveals 2017 Women In Entertainment: Power 100 Issue Guest Edited By Shonda Rhimes And Featuring In-Depth Cover Interview With Jennifer Lawrence By Oprah Winfrey

Lawrence Opens Up to Winfrey for Intimate Interview Touching on Sexual Harassment, Valuable Life Lessons, Political Frustrations and More

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 6, 2017 — (PRNewswire) —   The Hollywood Reporter today released the 2017 Women in Entertainment: Power 100 issue, guest edited by Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes and featuring an exclusive cover interview with Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence in conversation with Oprah Winfrey. The issue, on stands today, is the definitive guide to the leading women in film and television.

In her eye-opening cover interview, Lawrence talks to Winfrey about everything from pay equity ("I had it up to my f**king eyeballs") to her dealings with Harvey Weinstein ("He had only been nice to me – except for when he wasn't") to where she sees herself in 20 years.

In conjunction with the launch of the Women in Entertainment issue, Lawrence will be awarded the 2017 Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at THR's annual Women in Entertainment breakfast, taking place today at Milk Studios in Los Angeles.

Topping the 2017 Power 100 is the "Power Squad"—18 of Hollywood's most elite female creatives and industry figures whose contributions have had an outstanding impact on entertainment over the past year. The 2017 "Power Squad" includes: Cindy Holland (VP original content, Netflix), Nancy Dubuc (President & CEO, A+E Television Networks), Ava DuVernay (Producer / director, Queen Sugar, 13th), Bonnie Hammer (Chairman, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment Group), Patty Jenkins, (Director / screenwriter), Gal Gadot (Actor), Ashley Judd (Actor), Jodi Kantor (Correspondent, The New York Times), Megan Twohey (Reporter, The New York Times), Angelina Jolie (Actor, director), Kathleen Kennedy (President, Lucasfilm), Jennifer Lawrence (Actor, mother!), Shonda Rhimes (Executive producer, Shondaland), Meryl Streep (Actor), Dana Walden (Chairman & CEO, FOX TV Group), Oprah Winfrey (Chairman, CEO & chief creative officer, OWN), and Reese Witherspoon (Actor, producer)

The Power 100 is further divided into eight categories: "The Chiefs," "Film Forces," "TV Set," "The Stars," "The Makers," "The Reps," "Industry Stewards," and "The Dealmakers." Power 100 honorees are alphabetized within each group, and are not ranked.

The Hollywood Reporter also announced today that Cindy Holland, VP, Original Content, Netflix, has been named the 2017 Women in Entertainment Executive of the Year. An interview with Holland is featured in today's issue.

The issue also features an exclusive interview with Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook's chief operating officer, who touches on how to root out workplace bias and get more women comfortable with power. Shonda Rhimes conducts the interview  and pens a blistering editor's note in the issue — the first time THR has enlisted a guest editor in the 26-year history of the Women in Entertainment issue.
