TAMPA, Fla  – February 26, 2019 –  GRECO Aluminum Railings (GRECO), a leading manufacturer of high-quality engineered railing and safety systems for multi-family and commercial structures in the United States and Canada, is pleased to announce that it will be engineering, fabricating and installing all of the glass railings for the Landmark Apartment Tower, a 34-story high-rise apartment building in Los Angeles, CA.

The Landmark Apartment Tower is located at 11750 Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles, CA. The project’s developer is Douglas Emmett, Inc. The general contractor is Matt Construction and the architect of record is Gensler. Gensler’s design is a contemporary glass building lined with balconies. Gensler selected GRECO’s all glass railing system with low iron tempered laminated glass with a SentryGlas™ Plus interlayer. The railing package includes over 16,000 linear feet of railing with 3,500 pieces of glass. The corner sections of the railings are design with a true radius that will include 650 pieces of custom bent glass and stretch formed aluminum components.

We will be working closely with both Smoke Guard and Matt Construction to ensure a timely installation. Additionally, our preconstruction design work with Gensler’s Architectural team and Matt Construction was critical to ensure that we could not only meet the visual and safety requirements of the project but to make sure we kept the railing package within budget.”
