The Next Generation of Mecha Battles is Available Now for iOS and Android Devices

TOKYO — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 6, 2019 — Leading interactive entertainment publisher and developer BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc. today announced the official launch of GUNDAM BATTLE: GUNPLA WARFARE on iOS and Android devices. Based on the iconic GUNDAM series of anime and the GUNDAM plastic model (Gunpla) product line, GUNDAM BATTLE: GUNPLA WARFARE is a 3D action battle game featuring customizable mechas and exclusive original characters. GUNDAM BATTLE: GUNPLA WARFARE is available now as a free download on the App Store and Google Play.

To celebrate the launch of the game and to reward players who pre-registered for GUNDAM BATTLE: GUNPLA WARFARE, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc. is offering pre-registrants an in-game Gundam RX-78-2, Wing Gundam, as well as A.I. pilots Amuro Ray and Heero Yuy. Amuro Ray, the prodigy pilot from Mobile Suit Gundam, and Heero Yuy, protagonist of Gundam Wing, will be available to those players to pilot each of their Gunpla.

In GUNDAM BATTLE: GUNPLA WARFARE players embark on a quest to win the Gunpla Tournament Championship and be crowned the Gunpla Battle Master. On their journey, players will gather resources to upgrade their mecha, collecting and mixing parts to create the ultimate Gunpla. Players can choose between various Gunpla license types, including In-Fighter, Defender, Supporter, and much more. Each mobile suit will offer unique mecha combos including Melee attacks, Long-Range attacks, and more.

GUNDAM BATTLE: GUNPLA WARFARE features an original story as well as iconic moments from original anime series. Team-up to win tournaments and save the school Gunpla club from shutting down.
