Fraunhofer IPK joins the Professional PLM Steering Group

Oxford, England, 05 February 2020 - The PLM Interest Group announces that the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology ( Fraunhofer IPK) has joined the Steering Group of the Professional PLM Initiative.

  Professional PLM Logo   The Initiative aims to establish a single, recognised global profession for practitioners, and by so doing, to internationalise the reach of PLM as a discipline.  

Fraunhofer IPK run one of the most advanced systems of professional certification in the PLM industry, supported by industry partners and an expert committee.

The Steering Group is open and neutral, and more participants are encouraged to join.  It offers a chance to take the lead in developing the PLM industry in a more professional way.  There are full details on the Professional PLM web site, and you can request any other information via Email Contact.
