USGIF and SLU Bring a Special Edition of the Geospatial Gateway Forum with Geo-Resolution

The three-day virtual event will showcase emerging location science capabilities including the potential to aid vulnerable populations and improve overall community resilience

Herndon , Virginia (October 7, 2020) – The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) and Saint Louis University (SLU) have joined forces to bring the GEOINT community a virtual special edition of the Geospatial Gateway Forum coupled with Geo-Resolution this fall, Oct. 19 to Oct. 21,  that will showcase emerging location science capabilities including the potential to aid vulnerable populations and improve overall community resilience.

“We are so excited to host this special edition of our fall event in partnership with Saint Louis University. Our program features much of the work that is being done in this region by the people who live, work and invest their geospatial energy here.  And we’ll endeavor to highlight the depth and breadth of this ever-expanding discipline,” said VP of Programming, Geospatial Content and External Relations Ronda Schrenk. “The St. Louis area geospatial community is growing by leaps and bounds. You can’t help but feel the energy from this community. It’s captivating.”

Following the job fair are two days of keynote and panel discussions, technology demonstrations of innovative work happening in and around the St. Louis region, networking opportunities, academic poster presentations and more.
