Safe Site Check In Lands 500th Job Site As Demand for Workplace Safety Rises

Secure Digital Check-In/Check-Out Reinforces Jobsite Safety, Health and Compliance

SAN FRANCISCO – May 13, 2021 – The use of digital check-in apps to ensure workplace safety and compliance extends beyond the COVID-19 pandemic as evidenced by Safe Site Check In landing at its 500th job site in less than 10 months. Along with this milestone, Safe Site Check In is announcing several new product features and new customers specialized in building and managing multi-family, luxury, and affordable housing.

Safe Site Check In offers a secure way for general contractors, safety and compliance officers, HR professionals, office managers, and landlords to manage who has entered a job site or building. Using a smartphone and a dedicated QR code, employees and visitors securely check in and out, creating private digital records for time and attendance, location awareness, capacity planning, and compliance.

“At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Safe Site Check In was a necessity for businesses with essential workers. The app enables fast, efficient, and secure health screenings and contact tracing,” said David Ward, CEO, Safe Site Check In. “Companies quickly realized the time and cost savings of digital check in and its benefits that go beyond the current health crisis. This accelerated our growth and we now support more than 100,000 check-ins each month.”

Safe Site Check In continues to develop its technology for the post-pandemic workplace. Based on customer feedback, Safe Site Check In’s latest features include the ability to customize requirements for entering a site, including links to videos. For example, as part of the check-in process an employee or subcontractor could be shown a training video. They would only be allowed to enter the site after watching it. This reinforces safety guidelines and makes it easier to meet compliance requirements.

Additionally, the new release of Safe Site Check In allows customers to tailor check-in questions for employees, subcontractors, and visitors and provide special instructions upon arrival. For example, directing workers to a specific area to tackle a particular assignment under a designated supervisor. Or providing a delivery person with special package handling instructions.

“We’ve been using Safe Site Check In with a large multi-family project in the Bay Area, along with its health and safety benefits, it also provides easy to read reports and real time views of visitor activity on the job site” said Creig Fitzgerald, APM, SCS Development Co.

By applying Safe Site Check In’s advanced data and analytics to digital check-in/check-out records, businesses can spot trends, proactively identify potential issues, and easily create reports for internal and external business needs including compliance and safety records.
