Project Frog Bolsters Executive Team With Additions to Strategic Partnerships, Development, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Marketing Teams

Internal Promotions and New Hires Bring Decades of Innovation, Technology, and AEC Industry Experience.

SAN FRANCISCO — (BUSINESS WIRE) — October 27, 2021Project Frog, a leader in Industrialized Construction solutions, announced today the addition of five senior executives to its management team. Joining from inside Project Frog and from industry leaders like Autodesk and innovative startups, the team members will drive strategic partnerships, development, architecture and engineering, construction and implementation, and marketing programs.

“While the challenges over the past year changed the way many of us conducted business, it did not stunt the flow of demand we see in the modular, prefab, or Industrialized Construction arena; modern methods of construction are thriving,” said Drew Buechley Project Frog CEO. “Our Industrialized Construction platform helps automate and speed design/build cycles, delivering a huge benefit to various businesses, including quick-service restaurants, retail, education and healthcare. Ensuring our leadership team is driving the development of cutting-edge technologies and solutions, leveraging the right strategic partnerships, and truly representing the broader-based AEC, technology and manufacturing is critical. The promotion of Matthew and the addition of Jason, Pete, Kristal and Lisa will do just that. We are proud to add them to our team.”

New Team Members

The five additions to Project Frog’s executive team are:

  • Jason Steele, vice president of Business Development – As a transformational leader, Jason creates and executes strategic business development and operational initiatives, developing and fostering industry and business partnerships across the architecture, engineering, construction and owner industries. Jason’s prior positions at ATG USA, Autodesk and Harrison French & Associates offered an opportunity to expand his proficiency in project delivery, strategic planning, process improvement and technology implementation. Inspired by the potential of design, construction and technology transformation, Jason is excited to be at a place that allows him to be part of a diverse organization striving to revolutionize the building industry.
  • Pete Hodgman, vice president of Engineering – Pete’s 35 plus years of experience includes overseeing software and technology development strategies, enabling the company to integrate technology, manufacturing and automation, delivering control and predictability to projects. As vice president of Engineering at Project Frog, Pete focuses on the KitConnect enterprise technology platform and related software architectures. While at Autodesk, he oversaw the development of several technology and associated software architectures. Previously, he led in the creation of architecture and construction solutions, including Apollo at Katerra. Pete holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University.
  • Matthew Comber, SE PE, senior director of Architecture and Engineering – Matthew is an eight-year member of the Project Frog team and now leads the Architecture and Engineering group. As a licensed Professional Engineer in 51 US states and territories, Matthew’s 15-year career spans many complex projects and markets ranging from small schools and restaurants, to sizeable state-of-the-art tech manufacturing facilities and high-rise hospital buildings. Matthew developed cutting-edge seismic and sustainability analysis methods and tools while practicing under the mentorship of some of the industry’s leading minds during his employment at an internationally renowned structural engineering firm. While directing the Architecture and Engineering team, Matthew injects his keen sense of practical design and engineering of holistic systems and processes into developing Project Frog’s building platforms, product lines and methods of deployment. Matthew holds a Master of Science Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California San Diego.
  • Kristal Howe, director of Construction and Implementation – After earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Kristal worked as an ICC-Certified special inspector for a Geotech engineering firm, quickly moving up through the ranks in both business development and as a project manager. The vast experience from these positions led her to open a new Geotech engineering firm in Denver. For the past three years, Kristal has acted as an owner’s representative on high-end restaurant concepts, new build retail developments, adaptive reuse projects and tenant finish buildouts. Realizing the opportunity to optimize construction processes, Kristal joined Project Frog in 2021.
  • Lisa Brady, director of Marketing – Migrating from the manufacturing world to AEC, Brady began as a technical specialist and territory executive at Autodesk. Intrigued by consumer behavioral concepts, she expanded her marketing expertise at companies like Advanced Solutions and IMAGINiT Technologies. Her expertise in BIM, CAD, manufacturing, AEC and marketing allow her to develop and implement Project Frog’s overall marketing strategies, and execution of inbound and outbound sales and marketing efforts. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

Expansion of the executive team will help Project Frog outpace the demands of the building and technology industries while leveraging diverse perspectives to increase adoption of Industrialized Construction. Industrialized Construction applies industrial engineering principles to the building process by automating and optimizing design and construction practices and principles. This approach helps clients shorten construction schedules, alleviate project delays, increase expansion efforts, reduce lifecycle costs and benefit from early occupancy.
