Pléiades Neo Challenge: it’s time to submit your innovative project!

 

  • Worldwide users can access Pléiades Neo imagery to assess their research
  • Selected projects will receive free of charge Pléiades Neo dataset, and join the User Group feedback event

Toulouse, France 08 June 2022  – Airbus Defence and Space takes advantage of the ISPRS Conference, starting today in Nice, France, to launch the Pléiades Neo Challenge. This will offer opportunities to assess Pléiades Neo data utility for various applications and allow users to share feedback and experiences. The Challenge is open to all satellite data users worldwide across any area of activity.

To this end, Airbus has issued a call for projects with a plan to share the results by the end of the year during a dedicated digital event. To participate, applicants just need to register online at https://www.intelligence-airbusds.com/newsroom/news/pleiades-neo-challenge/, submit a form detailing the purpose of their project - for example, ground control points, a DEM, 3D model, land-use/land-cover, cadastral data…etc. Preference will be given to projects that are creative, innovative, or think for the future.

Projects may be submitted until 15 July 2022.

Airbus will provide free of charge Pléiades Neo products, for all areas of interest in the selected projects, via the OneAtlas platform. In return, selected candidates agree to communicate their results to all members of the Pléiades Neo Challenge before the 31st of October 2022.
