Sheffield, UK: MachineWorks Ltd will be displaying the latest releases of the MachineWorks SDK for CNC Simulation and Polygonica mesh modelling SDK for additive manufacturing at IMTS, September 12th – 17th, Chicago.
This is the ninth time MachineWorks Ltd has exhibited at IMTS and it is also the first time the company has not exhibited in the Controls & CAD/CAM area of the exhibition. Instead the MachineWorks booth is located in the Additive Manufacturing area. Long-standing MachineWorks’ customers may rest assured this change of location is more a consequence of booking late as any change in strategic thinking.
The MachineWorks 8.4 release contains a range of new functionality useful for optimising non-graphical verification of toolpaths, including computation of safe tool-holder profiles and faster collision calculations through collision-check buffering. More details can be found on the MachineWorks website.
Previews of the upcoming Polygonica 3.2 release will also be available, including:
- Deformation compensation for Additive Manufacturing
- 3D Medial Axis (mid-surface) computation
- Mesh-mesh registration for accurate alignment
- Preservation of small features during remeshing
The MachineWorks and Polygonica teams will be available throughout the show for demonstrations and to discuss your requirements in detail. Please feel free to drop by our booth, located at level three of the West Building, stand number 433029, or contact MachineWorks via our websites or LinkedIn to arrange a meeting time.
