Smart GEO Expo 2022 is getting ready to welcome its visitors on November 2nd (Wed) to November 4th (Fri) at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 Hall 5, Goyang City, Gyeonngi-do, Republic of Korea.
Celebrating its 14th anniversary, Smart GEO Expo 2022 strives to uphold its reputation as Asia’s leading geospatial industry expo, with an emphasis on the latest trends related to technology and convergence in the field of geospatial information.
Under the motto “Digital Earth, Better life for all”, Smart GEO Expo 2022 will shed light on how the cutting-edge geospatial technologies such as Digital Twin, GNSS, UAM, AR, VR, and Big Data can improve our lives and the future of the Earth.
The Offline Exhibition has expanded not only in size (~200% larger compared to 2019) but also in scope, to encompass the potential and accomplishments of the geospatial industry. The Exhibition Hall consists of immersive tech demos, a business lounge, networking spaces, and resting areas to accommodate its visitors with both fulfilling experiences and convenience. The newest tech showcases prepared by innovative businesses and startups prominent in the fields that have garnered the spotlight in recent years, including Proptech, location-based ad platform, and 3D model-based safety diagnosis, will also be featured.
Other than established exhibition, SGE also offers a wide array of side programs for professionals and stakeholders across the field of geospatial information. Notable programs include Business Programs to connect overseas buyers with domestic companies, Conferences covering a range of topics related to geospatial technology, policies, and convergence, and Global Programs, in which foreign ministers and officials join together to discuss pending issues while fostering concrete networking opportunities and business deals across borders.
SGE 2022 aims to resume the face-to-face exchange of geospatial technology halted by the COVID-19, while also transforming itself into a more sustainable, eco-friendly event through the active use of technologies such as QR codes and indoor navigation, with a focus on reducing waste and visitor fatigue.
