• Tianneng will build a development and production software platform using Siemens Xcelerator to speed the company's digital transformation and help drive innovation in battery production

Plano, Texas, USA – August 14 2023 Siemens Digital Industries Software announced today that Tianneng Battery Group Co., Ltd. has selected the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio of industry software to help it drive innovation and enable digital manufacturing in new battery production.

Established in 1986, Tianneng is a prominent leader in China’s domestic battery industry, focused on power battery and energy storage battery sectors, specifically catering to electric light vehicles. The collaboration with Siemens will enable Tianneng Battery to take full advantage of solutions from the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio of industry software, including Teamcenter® software for Product Lifecycle Management, Opcenter™ software for Manufacturing Operations Management and Simcenter™ software for virtual simulation and test.
 
This solution and associated digital thread will enable Tianneng to achieve a fully transparent closed-loop management across its entire manufacturing process, encompassing process management, plant management, logistics supply chain management and design R&D management.
 
In addition, Siemens will provide technical support, application training, and after-market services. By leveraging these resources, Tianneng Battery will be able to accelerate its digital transformation, enhance its core competitiveness, and achieve new levels of efficiency and innovation.
