European Space Imaging (EUSI) collected new Maxar WorldView-3 satellite imagery yesterday (August 21st) of a large wildfire burning near the northeastern Greek city of Alexandroupolis. The imagery shows the extent of the area that has already burned as well as the active fire lines that continue to threaten additional villages and residents in the area. Fire fighting aircraft and helicopters can be seen operating in the area attempting to control the blaze.
