Maptuit and Cadec Partner to Offer Maptuit NaviGo(TM)

BURLINGTON, Mass. & LONDONDERRY, N.H.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—October 27, 2006— Maptuit Corporation, the leading provider of truck routing, vehicle tracking and traffic services, and Cadec Global, the leader in advanced transportation-technology solutions, announced today a partnership to offer Maptuit NaviGo(TM) on Cadec's next-generation OBC (Onboard Computer), featuring a Windows(R)-based touch screen with a color display and high-resolution graphical interface.

The combined Maptuit and Cadec solution offers state-of-the-art technological functionality to the trucking industry. The new solution will provide a touch-screen operated navigation system, audible truck-specific, real-time, and turn-by-turn directions. If drivers miss a turn, they will immediately hear a recalculated route, providing directions from the new location to the selected destination. These new functions will significantly improve operational efficiencies, driver productivity and customer satisfaction.

"This announcement takes our strategy for improved driver experience and retention a huge step in the right direction for our industry. We are excited to be providing the market place with Maptuit NaviGo's dynamic content through a hybrid (onboard and real-time) and multi-mode (Satellite, Cellular or Wi-Fi) in-cab device that improves both driver safety and the driver experience," said Jeff Papows, president and chief executive officer of Maptuit.

Maptuit's years of experience and its unique community of 80,000 drivers, who provide constant updates to the road network, are a key element of Maptuit's dynamic routing and Maptuit's differentiating strength. This along with Cadec's market-leading technology will offer trucking companies a powerful optimization tool to manage their businesses.

"Trucking companies have waited far too long for exciting new technologies that help drivers when they need it the most, on the road," continued Papows. "But for these new technologies to be in the customer's best economic interest, they have to include a hybrid and multi-modal solution that can take advantage of dynamic, real-time, truck-specific routing at the best possible communication cost. Working with Cadec we can bring these combined solutions to market and close the gap in technology in support of fleets and the drivers. We are confident and excited to provide the type of fully integrated in-cab navigation solution that until now only existed in luxury automobiles."

"Cadec's goal is to bring the most advanced and cost effective products to our customers," said Heirmir Sverrisson, vice president of engineering at Cadec. "We explored a range of products and concluded that Maptuit NaviGo(TM) offers the most comprehensive road and location information service available. By aligning with Maptuit NaviGo(TM) we have the opportunity to add value to our already feature-rich solutions. The addition of in-cab navigation offers our customers another innovative application to help them run their businesses more efficiently, saving time and money."
