CMiC Increases Market Share in all Segments of the AEC Industry

TORONTO—(BUSINESS WIRE)—October 11, 2007— CMiC, the leader in enterprise-wide software solutions for the construction and engineering industry, announced that its market share, based on the top contractors list, increased by 25 percent in 2006-2007. CMiC also expanded market share in all major segments of construction and 11 leading organizations joined the expanding list of clients, replacing JD Edwards, Oracle Financials, Viewpoint, Timberline and CGC with CMiC.

"CMiC is the only Enterprise level software vendor that has seen their market share increase over the last three years," said Bassem Hamdy, Vice President of Solutions at CMiC, speaking at Connect 2007, the annual CMiC User Group conference. "We accomplished this by consistently providing products that increases productivity and improves efficiency. Also, our customers are industry leaders who recognize that CMiC provides them with the technology to power their business to the next level."

CMiC Software 2006.2, the newest version from CMiC, provides the best in class for financials, project management, imaging and workflow and corporate opportunity management. With the increasing competitive market space, CMiC Software 2006.2 will help organizations optimize resources and processes, eliminate wasteful business practices to improve profitability and keep customers satisfied. "2006.2 will improve operations to provide faster customer response and meet specific business requirements, no matter what segment of the construction market you are in," said Hamdy.

A factor in CMiC's success in the marketplace over the past few years is the confusion among competitors, caused by the consolidation of application software companies, according to Jeff Weiss, Vice President of Business Development and Sales at CMiC. "Enterprise software vendors merge, then offer one product then change for another. Most notably among all this tumult is the consistency and focus that CMiC provides to the architectural, engineering and construction industry," said Weiss.

CMiC's new clients are: CMiC's new clients are: BJC Healthcare, Brinderson, Palace Construction, Matt Construction, Walton Construction, Haselden Construction, Keating Building Corporation, Pizzagalli Construction Company, Shelco, United Forming and Webcor Builders
