Full merger of technological integrating networks means new energy to develop technical information systems using geographical information

TRNAVA, Slovak Republic, January 28, 2008 -- The merger of all YMS and GCWare branches under the transnational YMS Group’s single roof signals a new direction in the IT market for special solutions using geographical information. Current operations in Dubai, London, Germany and China as well as comprehensive development firms in the Czech Republic and Slovakia have already been working and will be under the common YMS Group flag.

A new approach means more distinct sharing of know-how obtained from implementing projects in different countries, along with more diversified access to clients and a global guarantee of quality and technical support, backed by ISO certification.

“After three years in a joint alliance, we have completed the full integration of YMS & GCWare Group companies to support our international expansion. We had been able to combine international experience with a strong development team, opening up new fields for ourselves, though now we can enter them together as a strong partner,” says YMS Group CEO Ing. Mikuláš Szapu.

New sales offices will be further expanding partnerships with world technological leaders such as Intergraph, Oracle, Microsoft and IBM, which have been important for several years. These partnerships are essential now for asserting ourselves in the highly-advanced markets of Western Europe.

YMS Group is a reputable creator of technical information systems, solutions for Fleet Controlling, administration of mobile resources and other systems with added geographical information (LBS, GIS). They are designed for intelligent transport systems, government organizations, distribution and logistics companies and public services. In the past 17 years the company widened its geographical coverage to majority of EU and ME countries and focused on a portfolio of sophisticated solutions based on geographical information. The company uses the latest knowledge of wireless communication technology, sensors, mobile communication and dynamic distribution of geographical data.
