May 21, 2008- HydroCAD 8.5 now models CONTECH stormwater products.

Now you can automatically model any of CONTECH’s stormwater detention products with HydroCAD – a computer aided design tool for modeling stormwater runoff available from HydroCAD Software Solutions LLC. The CMP and concrete products produced by CONTECH Stormwater Solutions can be easily included in any HydroCAD model for simplified design and simulation of stormwater detention or infiltration systems. Current HydroCAD 8.5 customers can install the latest chamber update at no additional charge from www.hydrocad.net

Peter Smart, President of HydroCAD Software Solutions says: "CONTECH provides a wide range of cost-effective options for underground stormwater storage and infiltration. With the release of our latest chamber update, these custom shapes can be easily modeled with HydroCAD, without resorting to external spreadsheets, as required by other hydrology and hydraulics programs. The chamber update adds over 100 new definitions to the HydroCAD chamber library, including the full
range of Corrugated Metal Pipe and concrete storage solutions offer by CONTECH. Underground storage chambers are widely used by our customers, and the chamber update will greatly expand the options that are available to stormwater designers."

CONTECH’s CMP Detention/Retention Systems, CON-STORM® and CON-SPAN® are part of wide range of products from CONTECH Stormwater Solutions. HydroCAD has been a leading Hydrology and Hydraulics solution since 1986, with more than 20,000 users worldwide.

“We are pleased to be able to offer this service and convenience to customers. The options available to stormwater designers are greatly improved.” Mike Hunter, Business Manager, CONTECH Stormwater Solutions says. For more information visit www.hydrocad.net or www.contechstormwater.com.
