Stevenage, Herts. 9 September, 2008. – Digital mapping and geographic information systems (GIS) software developer Cadcorp and Progeos Corporation of Connecticut have signed an agreement in which Progeos becomes a US business partner of Cadcorp and a distributor for the Cadcorp SIS – Spatial Information System family of digital mapping/GIS software.

Progeos provides public and private sector organisations with professional IT infrastructure, asset management and GIS consulting and implementation services and solutions and will initially concentrate on supplying Cadcorp SIS desktop and web-based applications to local and state governments – and to the engineering firms who serve these organisations - in Northeastern USA. The company will also offer GIS software development services.
