RICHMOND, VA – September 25, 2008 – Timmons Group, an ENR 500 Design Firm and a leader in geospatial and engineering consulting services, is pleased to announce that Lowell Ballard has been named as Director of Geospatial Solutions and will oversee the company’s Technology division.

Ballard has been working in the Geospatial industry for nearly 20 years, consulting to both public and Fortune 200 private clients across numerous vertical markets including natural resources, economic development, transportation, utilities, public safety and land records.  He is recognized as an industry expert in the integration of Geospatial and traditional Information Technologies and has been profiled by Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) as an industry expert in ArcGIS Server Technologies.
