Ruhl earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Earth and Environmental Science and a Minor in Music from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Denver. With a vast background of almost ten years in the geosciences, geographic information systems and complex geospatial sales and account management, Ruhl possesses the background and vision to bring valuable industry knowledge, strategy and tactical analysis to further elevate Digital Data Services in the upper tier of GIS service and data solution distribution. This will enable the DDS to better serve global enterprise and government needs.

Ruhl’s responsibilities will include developing new business partnerships in value added services, new geospatial data distribution solutions, customer relations, and sales management. Ruhl will also seek new opportunities throughout the Federal government by utilizing DDS’s current GSA contract. Key vertical markets to be targeted include the expansion of existing strong relationships built by DDS over the company’s twelve year history. Those industries and services include oil and gas, mining, the geosciences and civil and environmental engineering. Also, he will engage in intensive new research and innovative developments in the rapidly growing alternative energy and telecom sectors.
