Asahi Kasei EMD Selects Berkeley Design Automation Analog FastSPICE™ for Precision Mixed-Signal Simulation

SANTA CLARA, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—November 18, 2008— Berkeley Design Automation Inc., provider of Precision Circuit Analysis™ technology for advanced analog and RF integrated circuits (ICs), today announced that Asahi Kasei EMD, a leading global supplier of mixed-signal and RF integrated circuits for wireless, consumer electronics, and automotive applications, has selected the company's Analog FastSPICE™ circuit simulator for full-circuit functional simulation and complex-block characterization of its mixed-signal and RF integrated circuits. Asahi Kasei EMD is the core operating company for all electronics materials and devices of the Asahi Kasei Group, and has been one of Berkeley Design Automation’s earliest customers in Japan.
