ENLASO (translate.com) to Exhibit at Upcoming Game Developers Conference Localization Summit

BOULDER, CO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Feb 27, 2009 -- ENLASO Corporation, a leading provider of translation and localization solutions, announced today that it will exhibit at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) Localization Summit on March 23rd in San Francisco, California.

Attracting over 18,000 industry professionals, the GDC is the primary forum for programmers, artists, producers, game designers, and audio professionals to advance game development and technologies, tool sharing, exchange of information, as well as networking and gaming.

This year's GDC features a new Localization Summit that is dedicated to helping game professionals understand how to better plan for localization in order to minimize bugs and maximize ROI in translation and localization.

Despite the current economic woes, the U.S. video game industry set another record in 2008 with $21.3 billion in revenue. The industry registered $5.3 billion in revenue in December of 2008 alone, making it the single best month ever.

Yves Lang, ENLASO's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, notes, "Localization has become a mission critical aspect for many game developers these days. Localization simply needs to be better integrated into the game development lifecycles in order to optimize revenue from foreign markets." He continues, "ENLASO was at the forefront to support multilingual solutions for the games industry and today, ENLASO provides full-service translation, localization, internationalization, and testing solutions to a number of leading games developers and distributors."

ENLASO also announces that Yves Savourel, ENLASO's Solutions Architect, is scheduled to present at the Worldware Conference about using the XML Internationalization Tag Set (ITS) in an internationalization environment. Worldware ( http://www.worldwareconference.com) is a new conference that promotes the business case for internationalization. The conference takes place March 17-19 in Santa Clara, California.

Also, Doug Pearson, an ENLASO localization engineer and FrameMaker authority, will present at this year's DocTrain West Conference ( http://www.doctrain.com/west). The conference is held March 17-20 in Palm Springs, California. Pearson will talk about the use of structured documents and metadata in localization.
