SAN MATEO, Calif., March 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Celigo, Inc., today announced the availability of NetSyncX, its latest on-demand software product for synchronizing the Mac with NetSuite's integrated business software applications for Accounting / ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and Ecommerce. NetSyncX was built using the NetSuite Business Operating System (NS-BOS), the development platform that is part of NetSuite's SuiteCloud Ecosystem. Celigo also today announced its charter membership in NetSuite's SuiteCloud Developer Network, a multi-tiered program for commercial software developers that enables them to quickly go to market with new on-demand business applications that leverage the power of NetSuite's core business suite via the NetSuite Business Operating System (NS-BOS).
NetSyncX allows the growing number of Mac users to maximize their investment in NetSuite and increase overall productivity by providing easy connectivity with NetSuite. The new product also provides synchronization between NetSuite and the Mac for calendaring, tasks, contacts and e-mail. NetSyncX's synchronization utilizes Apple's iSync technology, enabling other iSync-enabled applications and devices on the Mac to keep in sync with the user's NetSuite data.
With NetSyncX, Mac users can now access their NetSuite data from within Apple iCal, Apple Address Book, and Microsoft Entourage, including offline access. Users can easily attach e-mails from Apple Mail or Entourage into NetSuite, enabling them to continue using their preferred e-mail applications to interact with prospects, customers, partners, vendors and others. Users can access their NetSuite calendars using iCal or Entourage, and sync events back into NetSuite. NetSyncX can also be used to sync NetSuite data with an iPhone, since NetSuite data is already on the Mac.
"We are implementing NetSuite and expect it to be integral to managing our leading-edge global engineering services firm," said Craig Barrow, President of Plastic Technologies, Inc. "A significant part of our workforce uses Macs, and having a seamless integration between NetSuite and the Mac desktop is essential for us to harness the full capabilities of NetSuite. We're pleased to use NetSyncX, as it nicely matches our need for real-time information in a mixed platform environment."
"There is a growing list of NetSuite customers who are Mac users, and NetSyncX from Celigo is designed to help these customers run their businesses smoothly with NetSuite," said Raghu Gnanasekaran, Senior Director of Partner Development, SuiteCloud Developer Network. "Today's launch of the SuiteCloud Developer Network is a proof point that NetSuite is taking a big step further in providing the business cloud platform for partners like Celigo to build business applications.
"As Mac sales continue to outpace the rest of the computer industry, we're seeing more and more companies use both NetSuite and Macs," said Jan Arendtsz, CEO of Celigo. "Our objective is to allow these Mac users to realize the full benefits of NetSuite, without having to be concerned about data synchronization."
NetSyncX is now available from Celigo as a Software as a Service (SaaS) subscription for Mac OS X 10.4 and later versions. A trial version is also available for download. Celigo plans to introduce several new features including fully automated scheduled sync, advanced e-mail related functionality, support for additional NetSuite record types, and many others in the next major version of NetSyncX.
