ESPRIT 2009 by DP Technology at the Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Oct. 19-22

Camarillo, Calif. — Sept. 11, 2009 — Computer-aided-manufacturing (CAM) industry leader DP Technology will exhibit its ESPRIT® software Oct. 19-22 at the Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show, or CMTS, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

This year, Toronto's Direct Energy Centre will become Canada's “definitive showcase for the latest machine tools, automation technologies, production methods, management strategies” and much more when the major regional trade show comes to town.

Five technology-specific zones at CMTS will connect visitors to exhibitors and cutting-edge technologies aimed at streamlining operations without sacrificing quality. Going beyond standard product demonstrations, CMTS also offers the Automation Rendezvous Two-Day Technical Conference, which explores “industrial process improvement, emerging technologies” and more.

ESPRIT will be on display at booth No. 24031, where knowledgeable and approachable representatives will be on hand to answer questions and perform demonstrations of the latest time-saving upgrades.
Among upgrades available in ESPRIT 2009 is the new turning-spinning tool technology. Designed to distribute heat and wear more effectively than a single-point lathe tool, this innovative technology can increase productivity by up to 500 percent and tool life by up to 2,000 percent. The advantage of the spinning tool is that there is no one single point on the tool that is in contact with the work piece all the time, and this is very good for heat dissipation and tool wear. Cutting conditions are no longer limited by the heat generated in the process, but by power available in the machine.
