gViewTek Introduces Web 3D GIS Framework with a "Mini-Google Earth" Web Control and 2D Map

Washington, DC – September 15, 2009 – gViewTek ( http://www.gviewtek.com) announces the availability of Web 3D GIS framework with a "mini-Google Earth" web control and 2D map. The framework provides a powerful customized 3D terrain web control/plugin, which is able to integrate with 2D map through OpenLayers, MapFish, and ExtJS. The customized 3D terrain web control/plugin makes it possible to load user own DEM data along with specific resolution, image texture, and objects. Like a "mini-Google Earth", it provides properties and methods to realize 3D features, supports Javascript script to set the properties and call the methods. Along with 2D map API OpenLayers, MapFish, and user interface API ExtJS, the framework provides a powerful 3D and 2D GIS solution.
