Use of NAVTEQ® Map Data and Content in Oracle Applications Continues to Grow

Chicago —October 7, 2009—NAVTEQ, the leading global provider of digital map, traffic and location data for in-vehicle, portable, wireless and enterprise solutions, is featuring a variety of Oracle applications and solutions powered by NAVTEQ® map data at Oracle OpenWorld 2009 in San Francisco, CA, October 11-15, 2009.

NAVTEQ has been providing map data and content for Oracle customers since 2002. NAVTEQ maps and enhanced content meet the rigorous mapping and location analysis requirements of applications such as Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Oracle Field Service, Oracle Utilities, Oracle Communications, Oracle Content Management, JDeveloper, Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer, Oracle eLocation Services, and Oracle Spatial.

  • Oracle Spatial and Locator (Monday, Oct. 12, 2:30-6:30pm): Oracle Spatial and Oracle Locator provide the functionality needed by demanding customer mapping and location-enabled solutions.   • Oracle JDeveloper (Tuesday, Oct. 13, 10:30am-2:30pm): Oracle JDeveloper is an integrated development environment with end-to-end support for modeling, developing, debugging, optimizing, and deploying Java based applications. See how JDeveloper’s rich client components for data visualization allows developers to easily incorporate charts, graphs, and maps into their applications, giving business users at-a-glance understanding of the key performance indicators that keep their businesses running.
  • Oracle OBIEE (Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2:30-6:30pm): Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition Plus (OBIEE) is a comprehensive suite of enterprise BI products that delivers a full range of analysis and reporting capabilities.
