Naples, FL—October 20, 2009 — WilsonMiller is pleased to announce that Ted Aiken, P.E. was promoted to Regional Business Unit Manager for WilsonMiller’s Transportation Planning and Design Division of Northwest Florida. A professional engineer and Senior Associate at WilsonMiller, Aiken will now manage the transportation planning and design efforts of WilsonMiller’s Northwest Florida Regional offices.

Mr. Aiken has 13 years of professional engineering experience and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. Ted has played a key role in strengthening relationships with FDOT and other public sector clients in the North Florida area. His efforts include a deeply personal commitment to his field of practice that has helped propel him in his success.

He offers experience and engineering expertise in the design of transportation, drainage and stormwater management, site development, water transmission/ distribution, wastewater collection/ transmission, and reclaimed water transmission/ distribution projects.

Ted’s a proud parent of four young boys and his commitment to his community includes active involvement in several youth organizations. He has served as a coach for both Little League Baseball and Pop Warner Football, a teacher for his church’s K – 5th grade bible study, and a den leader for Cub Scouts. Ted is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Florida Engineering Society (FES), and Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE).
